I agree with all of the above. Story stupid, and not really news at all.

Aren't these "musicians" from the downriver area ????
DearbornGuy April 20, 2014 at 11:58 pm
What's actually a "Horror" is that Insane Clown Posse is actually featured in a PatchRead More story.

I've got to go with Wonder Woman. No. 1, she's a woman and we girls have to stick together. No. 2, IRead More grew up on a cattle ranch and a magic lasso would've been a super thing to have. That is all.

Will there be any nudity ?

Don't forget Royal Oak's most heard downtown whine: "Damn not another parking ticket!"
Michael S. April 2, 2014 at 04:38 pm
Another alcohol fueled event at the farmers market..... let's see there is the whiskey tasting theRead More beer tasting, the vodka tasting...... I am sure the list could continue on and on. I wonder how well Royal oak would do if it went dry for a month. Served no alcohol or allowed businesses to sell. Just for a month. I would love to see the city try it. Hell I would even like to see them do it for a week. You know they can't because it is the source of their revenue. It is pathetic.
K. Scott April 2, 2014 at 08:05 pm
Michael, just whining just like Ron. The Farmers Market needs the revenue to cover costs. If youRead More want an event then do as I suggested to Ron. Plan it, lease the space, get the insurance, vet the vendors, advertise, sell tickets, set up and tear down the event and then you can complain.

Weird sometimes there is no problem and then it starts as its doing right now as my posting justRead More disappeared and I just started over. Then sometimes the computer between my ear freezes especially when I read that another drink, puke and fall down is opening in the city. It takes patience, which I do not have to be a good editor with a sticky keyed computer. So have patience with me Patience.

You are trying to overthink things again Ron. I simply have no patience for blow hards who slanderRead More others as thieves and are too lazy to do anything except back seat drive - useless. Do I like everything I see around here? Of course not, but that does not grant a license to lie about people and completely mangle facts without end. You seem to think it does.
RON Ostrodamus March 28, 2014 at 12:12 am
Mark where there is smoke as the old saying goes etc. This city needs to be investigated forRead More misappropriation of block development grants for a start. As for your slanderous remarks they do not bother me. I call it as I see it. Meanwhile, since nobody knows WHO you are nobody can take you seriously. I have never seen you present ANY facts to defend what this administration does with all the money it takes in. All one has to do is to look at the accomplishments of surrounding cities such as Birmingham including a beautiful downtown park and library. Tell your boss your heavy handed attempts to disparage will never deter my criticism of a PAC elected mayor who bullies with threats against AOL a hard working patch editor into censoring commentary and deleting comments all just before a joke of an election repeated yearly for reasons all who read this know well. With the exception of honest mistakes involving addresses, or spelling I challenge you to tell us how exactly I am mangling facts. As for your opinions as expressed recently you have me confused with someone who cares about the opinion of a ghost poster. I regret any respect I gave you in the past.
