Shain Park will come alive with activity during the City of Birmingham’s fourth annual Birmingham Winter Markt event. The European-style outdoor market will take place on Friday, December 6 from 3 – 9 p.m., Saturday, December 7 from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday, December 8 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Attendees will enjoy European food and drinks, gift items, holiday greens, crafts, ice carving demonstrations (Friday night), roaming winter princesses (Saturday), live reindeer (Sunday), warming stations, a Kinderhaus children’s activity area, the popular Santa House, horse-drawn carriage rides and live entertainment. New this year, WOMC 104.3’s Stacey DuFord will emcee Friday night’s Opening Ceremony. WOMC will broadcast live from the event throughout the evening. Attendees will enjoy complimentary crafts offered at the Kinderhaus children’s activity area.
