Baldwin Public Library's Summer Reading Wraps with Tacos

The annual program, sponsored with support of the Friends of the Baldwin Public Library, ended Thursday.

More than 100 teens participated in the Baldwin Public Library's Summer Reading Program, which concluded Thursday. Jacques’ Tacos owner James
Mastrangel hosted a taco party and parked his food truck on Merrill Street.

"Teens ordered their lunch from the truck’s window, and then socialized with each other as they enjoyed their beef, chicken, and pork tacos, accompanied by chips, salsa, and water," staff wrote to Birmingham Patch.
