Who's Going to State Tennis and Girls Golf Finals
Seaholm and Detroit Country Day are sending teams to the girls golf finals this weekend, while the Maples, Falcon and Yellowjackets will be represented at the boys tennis finals.
It's a big weekend for Birmingham's boys tennis players and girls golf teams, with the MHSAA holding the state championship games across Michigan.
Boys tennis
Seaholm and Groves are both sending tennis players to the state finals in Division 2, with matches to be held in Holly. Tennis players from Detroit Country Day, meanwhile, will compete at Holland Christian in Division 3 action.

Girls golf
In girls golf, Seaholm will compete for a state championship in Division 2, hitting the links at The Meadows at Grand Valley State University.
While Seaholm will not send any individual qualifiers to the state finals, the team itself qualified with a regional score of 333. The team is coached by Leon Braisted and is made up of:

In Division 3, Detroit Country Day also qualified as a team, with a regional score of 345. The lady Yellowjackets are coached by Peggy Steffan. Going to the state tournament at Bedford Valley in Battle Creek are:
