On the Schedule: Volleyball Districts Begin Monday

What's coming up for Birmingham-area sports teams today? We've got your full lineup of games and tournaments.

The weekend is over and the student athletes from Birmingham's high schools have a busy week of playoff action in front of them.

In playoffs, the girls volleyball district tournament officially begins today and lasts through the week. and have a bye Monday and play their first games against Andover and Marian (respectively) Wednesday, while Detroit Country Day and play their first games Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the boys from the Detroit Country Day soccer team continue their playoff run with a semi-final match against Elk Rapids on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets play at 6 p.m. at Fenton High School.
