Annette Compo, #66: 'It Takes a Team to Make a Champ'

Compo's son, Trevor, is a sophomore offensive/defensive lineman on the Country Day varsity football team.

Detroit Country Day School students and alumni love the school, and the football parents love and support their Yellowjackets. While the team played on the field, Patch went into the stands to tell the stories of the parents who help make everything possible.

Name: Annette Compo

Hometown: Farmington Hills

The furthest distance that her family of 25 drove to watch Trevor play: 200 miles (from Muskegon)

Age that Trevor began playing football: 5. "He was called up to play for the varsity team after the JV team went 8-1."

Highlight of the season ... if any: "There's really nothing. This is a fantastic experience and he's very excited to be part of it. It takes a whole team to win the game and I'm glad that he's learning that."
