Groves Scriptor Magazine Wins State Awards for Writing, Photography, Artwork

The Michigan Interscholastic Press Association awarded the Groves Scriptor staff with 21 awards in 2012.

Student staff members of the Scriptor magazine earned 21 awards from the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association (MIPA) this spring, with dozens of students honored for their work in writing, photography and art.

The Scriptor is advised by Groves teacher Laura Redman. Those students who earned first-place awards during the annual competition may be featured in next year's edition of MIPA's A Cut Above the Rest, a magazine for journalism advisers and Michigan journalists.
