Wine Tasting: Aromatic Wines

A tasting of nine non oaked wines produced from aromatic grapes. The dominant wine aromas will be floral, herbal, and bright fruit notes along with a refreshing acidity in whites and soft elegant tannins in reds.

Instructor Nidal Daher, Certified Sommelier has been working in the wine industry, covering restaurants, hotels, retail, and consulting for wholesale distributors for over 20 years. In various years he has served as the wine director, event sommelier, and catalogue scriber for the Detroit International Wine Auction.  Co-author of the book “Romance Begins in The Kitchen”.  Former fine wine director and buyer for the Merchant of Vino.  Founder and president of the wine consulting company, SOMMELIER CONNECTIONS, INC. and currently managing its division “Unique Wine Cellars”, for custom designing and building of wine cellars and cooling equipments.

Instructor Marc Jonna, co-founder of Plum Market, has been in the wine industry for over 25 years. His outstanding reputation boasts production of wine in France and extensive visitation to wine regions in both Europe and North America.
