The Secret World of Your Garden

There really is a world within ours, a secret world, where magic exists. Discover the secrets that your garden contains and how important native plants are to the Eco-System. This fun class will explore your habitat from the eyes of the insects and wildlife that coexist in your backyard. Design a garden from a different perspective where plants not only serve the eye for beauty but are functional and help to keep our wildlife, insects, and plant community in place for future generations. A $10 materials fee payable to instructor.

Michael Saint, certified master gardener, is the owner of Good Earth Landscape Institute. He is a member of the Michigan Wildflower Association, the National Wildlife Federation, Remineralize the Earth Foundation, and the Master Gardener Program of Oakland County. The National Wildlife Association has certified his gardens as wildlife habitat. He has been a repeated guest of National Public Radio’s “Detroit Today” and lectures throughout the state on various horticultural topics.
