Donations Still Needed for Groves Garage Sale

The annual sale takes place at Groves this weekend. Donations will be accepted in the Groves cafeteria Thursday and Friday.

Do you have treasures that need a new home? Treasures, perhaps, you wouldn't mind trading in for something new?

Donations are still being accepted for the annual Groves High School garage sale, happening this weekend at the high school located at the corner of 13 Mile and Evergreen.

The sale takes place from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. this Saturday, with early entry available at 8 a.m. for $2. The half-price sale begins at 2 p.m.

On Sunday, the sale is open 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Stuff as many items as you'd like in a bag for $5 all day long.

Donation drop-offs are scheduled for 3-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday in the Groves cafeteria. Tax forms are available, and you can rest assured knowing any unsold items will be donated to local charities and shelters.

So what can you donate to the Groves garage sale?

  • Clothing (clean), including: teen clothes, adult clothes, toddler clothes and baby clothes
  • Shoes
  • Toys
  • Books
  • Bicycles
  • Sports equipment
  • Furniture (clean and in good condition)
  • Electronics
  • Small applicances
  • Housewares
