Birmingham Schools Administrator Heading to Grosse Pointe

will be looking for a new adminstratror to head up their human resources department, as the current assistant superintendent for human resources, Michael Jon Dean, will soon be departing for .

According to , Dean was selected to fill the vacant position at Grosse Pointe's Monday night school board meeting.

This isn't Dean's first attempt at a job in the Grosse Pointe School District. In June 2011, . Dean was also in April 2011.

Dean will begin working with Grosse Pointe Schools on Feb. 13. According to Birmingham Schools spokeswoman Marcia Wilkinson, Dean will continue working with Birmingham Public Schools during his transition. The district doesn't yet have a timeline for finding his replacement, she said, though a more detailed plan will be drawn up next week.
