Trader Joe's To Open Doors on Telegraph Jan. 15
Trader Joe's much-anticipated opening in Bloomfield Plaza is just a week away.
The countdown for the opening of the new Trader Joe's at the corner of Maple and Telegraph is under way.
The doors to the fully-refurbished store inside part of the former Kroger location in Bloomfield Plaza open Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 8 a.m.
A spokesperson with the California-based company promised no major gimmicks or frills with the grand opening. But customers will have access to all the products and sales values they've experienced at the Farmington Hills location, which will close this month, officials said in a written statement.

Staff and local officials will officially open the doors with ceremonial "lei cutting" to keep with the company's tropical theme at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
The company initially planned to open last month, but decided to keep the Farmington Hills stor open through the holiday season, according to a sign posted outside the new location.
