The Museum Board will meet this afternoon at the Historical Museum. The public is welcome to attend. Today's agenda is as follows:
1. Call to Order
2. Donation from the Birmingham Rotary
A. Resolution accepting a $12,000.00 donation from the Birmingham Rotary for the Barnum Flint Faience Fireplace Project of installing the Barnum Flint Faience Tile Fireplace and associated costs for improving the room which is currently the back porch/north access to the museum, with the understanding that $9,000.00 would be received immediately, and the remaining $3000.00 would be received after July 1, 2012.
B. Resolution placing the donated funds with the Friends of the Birmingham Historical Museum as the acting fiduciary for the Barnum Fireplace Project funds.
C. Resolution naming the room, “The Birmingham Rotary Heritage Room.”
D. Resolution agreeing to provide the Birmingham Rotary a sketch or other representation of the final signage for the naming of the room.
