Homes on 14 Mile and Bates, as well as a vacant lot on Southfield, are among the more than 1,500 properties to be auctioned off this week as part of the Oakland County's land sale of tax-foreclosed properties.
State law requires counties to hold two auctions annually. Minimum bids on properties throughout Oakland County range from $339.40 for a piece of residential land in Pontiac to $98,775.73 for a vacant business lot in Holly.
In Birmingham, there are three properties for sale. Note: SEV stands for State Equalized Value, which is defined as half the house's True Cash Value, as defined by the Michigan assessor.
