Woman Tries to Slap Police Officer; Car Window on Woodward Broken Out

Car found with window busted

Birmingham Police are investigating after a vehicle parked in the 800 block of N. Woodward was found with its right rear window broken out. The incident happened between 8 p.m. on Oct. 8 and 9:45 a.m. on Oct. 9.  It is unknown as to what was used to break the window out.

Family dispute leads to disorderly person arrest

Birmingham Police were called to a residence on the 1700 block of E. 14 Mile Road for a family dispute. When they arrived, a 27-year-old female who resided in the home appeared to be intoxicated. While officers were investigating the incident, the female attempted to slap one of the officers in the face. The female suspect was then taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct. She has been given a later court date.
