Watch Taken at Subway, Woman Found Wandering on Woodward

Watch taken at Subway

Police are on the lookout for a youth who allegedly took a watch at Subway on Tuesday evening. According to police reports, a 14- or 15-year-old boy walked inside Subway around 8:45 p.m. and asked to see a 12-year-old boy's watch. The older boy then asked the younger boy to take off the watch so he could see it better, police said. When the younger boy gave him the watch, the older boy ran out of the restaurant, the report said. The approximate value of the watch was $150.

Nothing taken during attempted home invasion

Police said there was an attempted home invasion on the 900 block of Mohegan sometime Monday afternoon. According to police reports, the homeowner told police that sometime during the afternoon, someone broke a windowpane on the rear door of the house. Police said it looked like no one entered the house and that nothing inside was disturbed.

Woman found wandering in middle of Woodward

Police assisted a woman who was found walking in the middle of Woodward Avenue, near Bowers Street, around 2:40 a.m. Saturday. Police said the woman, a 26-year-old from Detroit, had no shoes on and refused to leave the road when asked. Officers escorted the woman off the road and brought her to the police station. Police later determined that the woman had suicidal tendencies, and she was admitted to William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak for evaluation.
