Three Home Invasions on Pilgrim, Glenhurst Nets One Possible Suspect

Birmingham Police are investigating a possible suspect in a series of home invasions.

are investigating a potential suspect in a series of three home invasions that occurred on Pilgrim and Glenhurst Drive over the last two weeks.

The first home incident occurred sometime between Friday, Aug. 10 and Friday, Aug. 17 on the 700 block of North Glenhurst when the homeowners were out of town. Police say when they returned, they discovered someone had entered the home by prying open a rear window and took jewelry, a flat screen TV, cash and collector's coins.

Meanwhile, a second home invasion took place around 10:50 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11 on the 300 block of Glenhurst. The homeowners were also on vacation at the time. In this case, the suspected invader or invaders entered the home by prying open a second-story screen window, police say, taking several pieces of jewelry.

Finally, the third incident occurred between 2:50-3:45 p.m. Monday on the 1400 block of Pilgrim. In this case, homeowners left the house for only a short period of time, police say, and a locked side window was pried open and several pieces of jewelry were taken.
