According to police reports, White and a 21-year-old woman from Southfield were arguing outside the downtown Birmingham bar after closing time when the Southfield woman claimed White hit her twice in the face. The Southfield woman told police that after she hit White, White then walked down the street to her car and pulled out a .22 caliber handgun and fired two shots into the air.

After Birmingham police released a photo of the shooter, found at PictureMeClubbing.com and identified by the Southfield woman, White turned herself over to police on April 4. Police have spent the past few weeks, Kiernan said, speaking to witnesses and compiling a case.
