Police: Woman in Yoga Clothes Wanted for Theft at Flash Accessories

The woman is seen on surveillance video taking a necklace from the downtown shop on Monday afternoon.

Birmingham Police are on the lookout for a woman believed to have stolen a necklace from Flash Accessories around 1 p.m. Monday.

According to a surveillance video and employee testimony, a white woman wearing yoga clothes and carrying a yoga mat over her shoulder entered the shop on South Old Woodward around 1 p.m. and began looking through some jewelry.

After she left the store, employees noticed a necklace was missing, police reports state. Surveillance videos shows the woman taking the necklace and walking out of the store.

The woman is described as being around 46 years old with red hair pulled back into a ponytail. The woman was around 5'4" tall and around 135 pounds, reports state.
