Man Robs Comerica Bank at 14 Mile and Woodward

The man took an undisclosed amount of money from the Comerica Bank at 10 a.m. Tuesday, according to Birmingham Police.

are searching for a man who robbed the at 14 Mile and Woodward Tuesday morning.

The man entered the bank around 10:05 a.m. and approached one of the tellers, according to a release from Birmingham Police Cmdr. Terry Kiernan. The man produced a note stating it was a robbery and to give him money. No weapon was seen or implied in the note, the release said.

After the teller gave him an undisclosed amount of money from his drawer, the man left the bank and was last seen running west away from the bank.

The man has been described as white, between 5-feet-7 and 5-feet-9, between 25 to 30 years old, with facial hair. He was reported wearing a black knit cap, sunglasses, a black jacket, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. He had a large bandage over his nose.

According to police, the suspect matches the description of another suspect from a Nov. 15 bank robbery at the Comerica Bank at Metro Parkway and Garfield in Clinton Township.
