Police Report Vehicle, Computer Accessories Stolen

Following is a roundup of recent Birmingham Police reports:

Vehicle stolen from driveway

A black 2011 Mercy Mariner was reportedly stolen from a resident's driveway between Sunday night and early Monday morning. The vehicle, located in the 1700 block of Shipman Boulevard, was left unlocked, according to the police report. Another vehicle on the property was reported to have been broken into, with golf clubs stolen.

Man throws flower pot, is taken into custody

Birmingham Police officers observed two men walking along North Old Woodward Avenue at 2:45 a.m. Sunday, according to a police report. The men were suspected of disorderly conduct earlier in the evening and the officers kept a close eye on the men's behavior. According to the report, one man, a resident of New York, picked up a large flower pot and threw it into the street. The report states the flower pot broke and officers moved in and took the man who threw the pot into custody for malicious destruction of property and disorderly conduct.

Computer and accessories stolen from building

According to a police report, a computer, monitor, keyboard and printer were stolen from an office building located at 280 W. Maple St. over the weekend. The person who called in the theft noted that the computer and accessories were taken from the lobby area and that the building is always locked.
