Notice there is no mention of how LONG it took our Police department to respond to that alarm. Criminals are now totally tuned in to the fact that B'ham Police response times to alarms provide ample opportunity to get in and get the job done before anyone shows up. Not to mention even in broad daylight like Greenstone's this past week. Somebody in City government better start asking some tough questions because serious crime is escalating.

I used to work for a big name alarm company. We did commercial alarms and there is a process we had to go through from the time we got the alarm. We had to call the police then give them the alarm information. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes at least 10 minutes from the time the alarm goes off until the police even know about it.
