Police Blotter: Women Report Attack by 2 Women In Parking Garage

Women report assault by 2 women in parking garage

Two women said they were assaulted by two women in the early Monday morning. According to police reports, the women were in  and noticed two other women and a man in the bar area. When the pair left the bar around 2 a.m., they went to their car in the parking garage and noticed the two women in the garage. The women claim the second pair of women approached their car, opened the doors and began physically assaulting them. According to the women in the car, the man from the bar was there, yelling and allegedly instigating the fight.

The women finally drove away and reported the incident to police the next day. They claim there were several witnesses to the fight in the garages but  no witnesses have come forward or been identified. There are no suspects.

Police break up fight involving teenage boys along Woodward

Four teenage boys were taken into custody late Sunday night after a fight erupted on the sidewalk in front of downtown. According to police reports, officers responded to the fight around 11:15 p.m. They took a 16-year-old from Southfield into custody for attempting to assault an officer. A 14-year-old from Southfield fled when police arrived, but was later discovered hiding behind a dumpster in the alley behind the . Reports also state another 16-year-old and 17-year-old from Southfield were taken into custody after first running away from officers.

The two 16-year-olds and 14-year-old were released to their parents, with reports submitted to the Oakland County Juvenile Division for prosecution. The 17-year-old was charged with disorderly conduct. He posted bond and was released to his parents.

Porshe tires cut while parked on the street

The tires of a Porsche were punctured while it was parked on the 1000 block of Haynes Street last Thursday. According to police reports, the incident occurred between 12:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. The car was loaned to the driver. When he returned to the car that evening, he found the front and back passenger-side tires had been punctured. There are no suspects.
