Police Blotter: Firewood, Flowers Stolen from Gas Station

Flowers, firewood taken from gas station

Firewood and flowers were stolen from outside the at 1065 E. Maple Rd. The owner of the gas station reported to police that sometime Sunday night, when the station was closed, 10 bundles of firewood and six flats of flowers went missing from the outside of the gas station. The approximate value of the firewood and flowers is $200, according to the police report.

Park play equipment vandalized

Play equipment at was vandalized over the weekend. According to a police report, there were multiple graffiti paintings throughout the park, most of it on play equipment. Most of the graffiti included first names with sexual slurs or some other designs, the report said.

Video shows car backing into flower pots

Property was damaged July 8 at the when a vehicle backed into two large flower pots and a pole that supports an awning. According to police, a surveillance video from the building shows a vehicle pulling into the center’s parking lot around 11:35 p.m., then backing into the flowers and pole twice. The value of the damage is currently unknown, and detectives are investigating.
