Larcenies Reported at Roeper, SolPotion Studio in Birmingham

The Birmingham Police Department provided the following information. Anyone with information about any of these incidents is encouraged to call the department immediately.

Officers with the Birmingham Police Department investigated multiple larceny reports last week, reports show. 

  • An employee at SolPotion Studio, located at 33668 Woodward Ave., reported money was stolen from her purse while at work, according to reports. The theft was discovered at about 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 11. There are no suspects or witnesses.
  • An 8th grade student at the Roeper Upper School reported his laptop was stolen sometime between 9-10 a.m. on Nov. 4, police reports stated. The victim told police he inadvertently left the laptop at the library. When he returned to look for it, he said he was unable to locate it. There are no suspects or witnesses.
