Home Invasion on Eton, Wallet Stolen at Townhouse

The Birmingham Police Department provided the following information. Arrests, where they are mentioned do not indicate conviction.

Officers with the Birmingham Police Department investigated a home invasion report in the 1300 block of Eton Street last week.

Residents reported the break-in through a rear window of the home at about 4 p.m. on July 31, police reports said. Jewelry, a gym bag, a Wii game system and accessories, two laptop computers and a camera were reported stolen. No suspect information was available. 

Wallet grabbed from table
A woman told Birmingham police her wallet was stolen while she was dining at Townhouse. The woman said  she set the wallet on the table while she was waiting to pay her bill at about 7:30 p.m. on July 31 and looked away. When she looked down again, it was gone, reports said. There were witnesses, and no suspect information was available. 

Lawn equipment missing
A man told Birmingham police that another man stole his gas powered lawn edger from a trailer located at Southfield and Brown streets at about 12:30 p.m. July 30, reports said. He said the suspect was white and in his 30's, but could not provide a more detailed physical description. The suspect drove an older green Buick and police are investigating.
