Computers Stolen From Birmingham Office Over Holiday Break

The Birmingham Police Department provided the following information.


Officers with the Birmingham Police Department are investigating two larcenies reported just before the new year. 

Two employees at CBS Television offices, located at 35100 Woodward Ave, reported laptops were stolen from during the holiday break when they returned for work at about 8 a.m. Dec. 31, police reports said. Both laptops were left in unlocked offices. No suspect information is available, and there were no witnesses, police said. 

The theft occurred sometime between 5p.m. Dec. 25 and 8 a.m. Dec. 31.

A Birmingham resident reported his black Northrock Mountain bike was stolen from the Park Street parking structure at 380 Park Street on Dec. 30, reports said. The bike was unlocked in the northwest corner bike rack. No suspect information was available.  The theft reportedly occurred sometime  between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Dec. 30
