Funeral Arrangements for Birmingham's Christopher Neumann and Todd Lloyd

The Birmingham couple died in a plane crash in northern Michigan Monday morning. Authorities are investigating.

The online tributes to two Birmingham men that died in a plane crash in northern Michigan Monday continue to pour in as funeral arrangements have been finalized.

Todd Lloyd, 51, and Christopher Neumann, 38, were killed when the single-engine plane they were in crashed shortly after taking off near Boyne City early Monday morning. 

Neumann’s family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Rd. in Troy, According to Neumann's Obituary.  Lloyd’s visitation and funeral services will be held Thursday and Friday in his native Clare at a location to be decided by his family.

Authorities confirmed the identities of both men who were found in the wreckage of the crash in rural area in the northern part of Michigan's Lower Peninsula.

Lloyd was president of Madison Heights-based Chair Covers & Linens, and Neumann was a vice president with Weber Shandwick, an international public relations firm.

The couple were headed to Oakland-Troy Airport, and the crash remains under investigation by aviation authorities.
