• Why Go: Walk (or run) for a good cause this weekend with the LUNGevity Foundation's Breathe Deep Michigan event at Booth Park. All proceeds from the 5K and 10K, held in the neighborhoods surrounding Booth Park, will go toward the LUNGevity Foundation, which funds research for and spreads awareness about lung cancer.
  
  Dr. Shirish M. Gadeel, medical oncologist at the Karmanos Cancer Center and associate professor of Hematology and Oncology at Wayne State University School of Medicine, will speak before the race.
