Tot Shabbat at JCC of Greater Ann Arbor. Parents, grandparents, caregivers and toddlers can come and celebrate Shabbat at the JCC.

Saturday, December 14:


Breakfast with Santa at The Pittsfield Township Parks & Recreation Department. Breakfast with Santa is a special event for many children around Christmas time.

EMU Planetarium presents "Season of Light" with Seasonal Stargazing at Eastern Michigan University Department of Physics & Astronomy. Season of Light explores the reasons humans are so fascinated with lighting up our lives during the December holiday season. It's an exploration of the astronomical meanings behind seasonal traditions, including the "Star over Bethlehem".

Classical Bells Concert at the Downtown library. This accomplished Michigan musical ensemble brings the beautiful sounds of 68 bronze and six aluminum English handbells back to AADL. This popular holiday event is as delightful to watch as it is to hear!



Ballroom Dance Nights at The Pittsfield Township Parks & Recreation Department. The evening begins with an intro to dance steps for beginners or those wanting to polish old skills. The dance follows the lesson.



HOLIDAY CRAFTS (ART ALA CARTE) at Livonia Public Library. Dec 4 through Dec 22 during library hours Drop by the Children’s department and create some festive holiday crafts (samples, instructions, and materials provided by the library). Adult supervision is required, especially for young children.

Woodward Wonderland at Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit. Through original short plays and exuberant song and dance, Woodward Wonderland puts a uniquely Detroit spin on the holiday season, paying tribute to the metro area's many rich holiday traditions.

Return of the Dinosaurs at Sloan Museum. At Sloan Museum, Flint MI Return of the Dinosaur Exhibit October 12, 2013-January 12, 2014
