This is my last blog for Birmingham Patch. I am moving on to other adventures. The timing of this last blog is perfect in part because every year I get writer's block. I take pride in pushing the boundaries, extending space, drawing outside the margins and lines. I will always be an activist it is simply a part of my DNA to which I surrendered years ago.
I have really enjoyed my stay in Birmingham as a resident, neighbor and of course as an activist. Some of days have been full of excitment some of them have left me empty with disgust. Such is life.
