DeWayne Wells, president of Gleaners, said Vine & Dine is an important part of their fundraising year. Last year, Gleaners distributed 40 million pounds of food to more than 600 soup kitchens, shelters and pantries in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston and Monroe counties.

"It is so heartening to see the Birmingham-Bloomfield community come together to support Gleaners from the food and wine vendors, to the sponsors and auction donors, to the hundreds who attend every year," said Wells.
