Level One Bank's Dog Days of Summer

Farmington Hills-based Level One Bank will host its second annual “Dog Days of Summer” event in early August to raise funds for the Animal Welfare Society (AWS) of Southeastern Michigan. Employees are encouraged to bring their dogs to work for the day and may donate $5 to AWS to wear jeans.

The goal of AWS is to secure homes for as many adoptable animals as possible, while educating the public on the importance of spaying and neutering in an effort to control the pet population.

“The benefit of having canines in the workplace has been proven by multiple studies nationwide, including improving morale and decreasing stress,” said Susan Edwards, President/Treasurer of AWS. “We look forward to more organizations opening their doors to our four-legged friends as Level One Bank has.”
