High School Students Host Bowl-a-Thon for Charity

High school students enrolled in the Business, Management, Marketing & Technology (BMMT) program at Oakland Schools Technical Campus (OSTC) Southeast in Royal Oak are hosting their Sixth Annual Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Charity Bowl-a-thon. This program includes students from and .

Students have raised approximately $24,000 in the past five years during this event.

BMMT students, along with those in the Visual Imaging and Culinary Arts programs, will be seeking sponsorships, bowlers, and donations from businesses within the community. Proceeds from this event are used to send young people with muscular dystrophy to MDA summer camp. It costs $800 to send just one child to camp each summer. Sponsorships range from $25 to $400.
