Zentangle 101 - Art Class

Zentangle is an easy to learn, relaxing method of creating beautiful images from repetitive patterns and provides a fun and light-hearted way to relax. The materials are simple, low-tech and inexpensive. Zentangle is a method of using pen and paper to create surprising and unexpected works of art. It supports relaxation, focus, inspiration, and a sense of well-being; offering artistic satisfaction for people of all ages and abilities. Zentangle 101 will introduce you to the techniques, terms, materials and a minimum of six patterns; at least one tile will be completed. A $7 materials fee payable to instructor.

Sheryl Lamarand became a certified Zentangle instructor in 2010. She has a Bachelors’ degree in Elementary Education from CMU, an MBA from Wayne State University.
