Warm Clothing Drive (New Items Please)

Freedom House, Detroit is home to over 80 survivors of torture, persecution and human trafficking, who are seeking legal asylum in the US and Canada.  We are in urgent need of warm sweaters, sweatshirts, fleeces and winter boots.  We'd like to warm the hearts and bodies of our courageous refugees with donations of the above items.  Donations of clothing items can be dropped off at either the Lucy Store in downtown Birmingham or at Twelve Oaks Mall.  Warm boots can be dropped off at Karma Yoga in Bloomfield Hills.  All sizes needed for men, women and children.  New items only, please. Items will be given as holiday gifts. Freedom House (www.freedomhousedetroit.org) is a 501c.3 charitable organization.  You may obtain a receipt for your donation by including your name and address with the gift.  Please do not wrap items.
