The Dailey Method Birmingham Launches the New Dailey Interval Class

With an eye on autumn, fans of the world-renowned Dailey Method
can now “Do It Dailey” like never before, as the barre-based workout introduces
a first-of-its-kind interval workout born from its kinesiology and core
alignment principles. The Dailey Method
Birmingham is rolling out the Dailey
Interval, a new 45-minute foundation focused interval class that increases the
heart rate for an intense calorie burn.

Dailey Interval is a more simplified, faster paced Dailey
Method class that combines periods of high and low intensity movement. The
heart rate is elevated and brought down throughout class, while the recovery
periods remain active. The class also emphasizes breath-work to focus attention
inward and help maintain a constant focus on form. The interval training and
fun, upbeat music gives students the power and energy to bring their best to
the more intense portions of class.

For those looking to optimize their existing workout regimen with
a cardiovascular option, Dailey recommends adding two interval training classes
per week.  When combining the toning and
muscle work of the traditional Dailey Method class with the cardiovascular and
endurance training of the Dailey Interval class, students are setting their
bodies up for great results including a higher metabolic burn than just cardio
workout alone; cardiovascular endurance; and a stronger, leaner – and most
importantly – healthier body from the inside out.

“Beyond the workout, the energizing music, supportive teachers and
the community atmosphere sets The Dailey Method apart,” said Carly Goidosik,
studio owner. “With the addition of the Dailey Interval class, The Dailey
Method now offers classes for all fitness levels while focusing on alignment
and core strength while also delivering a more focused cardio benefit.  Unlike a traditional large fitness class, students
receive individual education and attention. The practice helps ground and
center the students to transform their minds and bodies.  All of these elements are part of the
hands-on holistic approach that makes the Dailey difference.”
