The Cavani String Quartet at Oakland University, Chamber Music Society of Detroit

The Chamber Music Society of Detroit presents its 1st season at Oakland University. This new concert series, presented in partnership with OU Music, Theatre and Dance, features artists and ensembles of national and international distinction in affordably priced public concerts in Varner Hall.  



About the Cavani Quartet: 


This renowned ensemble of Annie Fullard and Mari Sato playing violin, with Kirsten Docter on viola and Merry Peckham on cello, is the quartet-in-residence at the Cleveland Institute of Music and winner of the prestigious Naumburg Award. They have appeared in major concert halls across the country, including Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.
