Soap Making Class

Have you ever wanted to make your own soap? This “Melt & Pour” technique class is designed towards beginning soap makers. Using 3 different techniques with a high quality, pre-made vegetable glycerin soap base, you will create: a tie-dyed soap, an oatmeal soap and a layered soap. Additives such as exfoliant, herbs, oils, even toys can be included. Explore the many types of colorants, soap making types (Melt and Pour, Cold Process, Hot Process) as well as decorative molds, loaf molds, and other types of molds. A $10 materials fee is due to the instructor.

Trish Herndon has been making Melt and Pour, Cold Process and Hot Process Soap since 2005 and is a member of the Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetic Guild.
