SEAHOLM 90TH CELEBRATION OF FIELD DAY

Seaholm 90th
Field Day Celebration
Seaholm is buzzing with excitement over preparations for our 90th Field Day Celebration on Friday October 18th. Seaholm will be showing off its school spirit with a week of activities that we invite the community to join us in.

Girls
Powder Puff Football Game -Tuesday 10/15 
7:30pm  Seaholm Stadium
:  The Junior and
Senior Girls will take the field for a Powder Puff Match to raise money for
Common Ground. Tickets are $5 and additional donations are welcome!

Charity Food Drive – Wed, 10/16 and Thurs 10/17 2:45-5:30pm
Seaholm students are collecting canned food for Gleaners Community Food Bank. The community is encouraged to help us reach our goal of collecting 14,000 lbs of food by dropping off food at our gym entrance on these two days.

Parade and Pep Rally - Thursday, October 17th  6pm:
Students, parents and staff will be marching in this festive Parade celebrating Seaholm’s rich Field Day tradition. This is an all Seaholm event, including current students, future students and Seaholm Alumni. Parade participants should arrive for Parade line up at First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham (1669 W. Maple Rd) at 5:00 pm.  The Parade will start at 6pm, marching south on Pleasant St, west on Lincoln St, into the Seaholm Lincoln parking lot. We hope the community will come out to watch the parade and then join us at the  stadium, on Maple Field, at 6:45pm for an old fashioned Homecoming Pep Rally.  Come help the students cheer on our Maples as they prepare for their football game against our cross town rival, Groves High School.

90th Seaholm Field Day – Friday, October 18th 
8-11am  Gym

: Field Day is a long standing tradition at Seaholm where students prepare for weeks to show their class pride in spirited competitions. Students will compete for Field Day point for their March, Song, Floor Show, Costume and in Field Events.

Homecoming Game – Friday, October 18th  7pm Maple Field: Come cheer on Seaholm, as we take on Groves, for our Homecoming Game. Arrive at 6:00 p.m. for the BEF (Birmingham Education Foundation) annual Seaholm /Groves Tailgate and get FREE hot dogs, pop and chips and listen to the Seaholm Band perform.


Homecoming Dance – Saturday, October 19th  Seaholm:This student dance will take place on Saturday evening from 8-11pm.
