Groves Marching Band Invited to London!

LONDON INVITATION: On Monday, Sept. 23, the Groves High School marching band will receive a formal invitation to perform in the 2015 New Year’s Day Parade and Festival in London,England. This formal invitation will take place in the Groves High School Little Theatre. Lord Mayor Catherine Longworth, former Mayor of the City of Westminster, and London Parade and Festival Founders and Directors, Robert and Geraldine Bone, will present the invitation. Only a select number of groups are personally invited by Lord Mayor Longworth and her colleagues.  Local government and Birmingham Public Schools officials will be on hand to host the event.
