Free Training for Runners

Runner’s Clinics Hosted by DMC Sports Medicine and
American Home Fitness


DMC Sports
Medicine is hosting free clinics for runners Saturday, July 20 at 9 a.m. and
Monday, July 22 at 6 p.m. at American Home Fitness in Birmingham, located at
1703 East 14 Mile Road.


In preparation for American Home and Fitness’ Couch to 5k, The Detroit
Free Press Marathon and any other local run events this summer and fall, DMC Sports Medicine is offering free training with DMC Certified Athletic Trainers to prepare runners at all levels to be faster, stronger and injury-free.


The clinics will include 30 minutes of education, followed by a run


exercise. DMC trainers will provide free education on correct dynamic warm-ups,
running biomechanics, footwear suggestions, proper cadence, nutrition and
suggested mileage and workout content.
