The community is invited to join Birmingham Public Schools superintendent Daniel Nerad to discuss the district at an informal coffee event. Nerad will guide a discussion on the district's strengths and weaknesses. Information gathered will be used as the district heads in to strategic planning in the coming months.

Yesterday on my street, I saw a tree, on city property, with 'stuff' piled high around the base of…Read More the tree. I tried to tell the two gentlemen there it would eventually kill the tree. 'Not so!' they replied, according to, I believe, their landscaper. They then proceeded to try and placate this nosy gray haired woman. Maybe someone from the city could clue them in??
