Life after Loss: A Journey through Grief is a six-session grief class for people who have experienced the loss of a loved one. We will explore the various stages of grief and the various techniques for coping with grief, working through grief, and even growing through grief. The group will meet on 6 consecutive Tuesday afternoons beginning Nov. 6 and ending Dec. 11, 2012. The group will meet from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m., at First United Methodist Church, 1589 West Maple Road, Birmingham, in the Wright Parlor (#104). There is a $15 materials fee payable at the first meeting.
