Dancing with the Stars

South Oakland Shelter (SOS) is proud to announce its 4th annual “Dancing with the Stars” presented by Charity Motors, and co-chaired by Jennie and Bill Cook and Nicole and Norman Yatooma, to be held Saturday, November 17th commencing at 7 PM at The Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, MI. Metro-Detroit media personalities, and other local celebrities will pair up with professional dancers for a Spectacular Celebrity Dance Competition! Proceeds from the event will benefit homeless men, women, and children who receive care and assistance each year at South Oakland Shelter.


We want you to join our Master of Ceremonies Jay Towers, Fresh 100.3 & Fox 2 News Weekend. Other participating celebrities include: TV Personality Lila Lazarus, David Clapper of David Clapper Enterprises, CoCo, Morning Drive Personality FM98 WJLB/Comedian, Monica Del Signore, Bacco Ristorante, R.G Dempster of Detroit Rocks!, WXYZ Channel 7 VP and General Manager Ed Fernandez, Antonio Salon and Spa’s Taylor Gray, Steven Tapper of Tapper’s Diamonds and Fine Jewelry, Chrysler Group’s Head of Media Susan Thomson, and Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospitals President & CEO Gerard van Grinsven!
