Since 2003, the Camp and Resource Fair has been an information vehicle servicing families seeking programs that accept children with special needs in both self-contained and inclusive environments. Participants will include camps, therapist, tutors and more!
Over 140 organizations from across Michigan (and a few others just outside Michigan) have been invited. We expect over 50 organizations and over 125 families to attend. Each organization attending the Fair will have a display table manned by a representative with whom you will able to speak. Additionally, most organizations bring along various printed information and video. Friends of Different Learners is excited to offer this service to parents each year. Learning about qualified and appropriate programs can be challenging and frustrating. This event has grown into a valuable resource for families of children with special needs.
New this year! A selection of Micro Businesses developed through The Macomb-Oakland Regional Center Inc. (MORC) will have products available for purchase.
