Birmingham Turkey Shoot Out

Golfers can help those in need this holiday season by attending the City of Birmingham’s first annual Charity Turkey Shoot-Out on Saturday, Nov. 17 at Springdale Golf Course. Two-person teams will kick off the event with a shot-gun start at 11 a.m.

Golfers will pay a $25 entry fee, which includes 18 holes of golf (walking, but carts are available), lunch and prizes. Those who donate a frozen turkey will receive $10 off the entry fee; those who bring at least two non-perishable food items will receive $5 off the entry fee. All donations will benefit BASCC for Meals on Wheels.

“Participating in this event is a great way to give back to the community,” said Jacky Brito, Birmingham Clubhouse Manager. “Golfers will receive a fabulous deal while reaching those in need. It’s a win-win for everyone.”
