Bernard Woma Ensemble, a BUC SoundBites concert

Coming to Birmingham Unitarian Church from their recent sold-out performance at Lincoln Center, the Bernard Woma Ensemble bridges Western orchestral music with the exciting rhythms of African dance. The group's combination of the Gyil—grandfather of the marimba—and other African percussion with Western instruments moves their unique music onto a global musical landscape... and sets the stage for a high-energy holiday season.

Concert followed by desserts, wine, and conversation with the performers. Suggested donation $20. Co-sponsored by the Race Relations & Diversity Task Force of The Community House, Birmingham.
