Defeat the Label 5k and fun Run

Defeat The Label, the

international anti bullying non-profit, announced their first annual Run4Change 5k and

Fun Run to benefit their 2013 ING New York Marathon Run4Change Team.

“Thirteen million

children are bullied in school each year, this is a problem that is affecting

the lives of all of our youth and it is time to take a stand.”  Stated Jeff

Sakwa, President of Defeat the Label
“Our hope is that Defeat the Label is

the key organization when it comes to the anti-bullying movement, providing

supports, programming and classroom toolkits to offer students an opportunity

to take a stand against bullying in their own schools.”

The event will take place on Sunday, October

6, 2013 at Seaholm High School in Birmingham, Michigan.  Registration for the event is available at www.dtl5k.com.
