There are six beautiful private gardens throughout the Grosse Pointes
on the tour this year, as well as

the Trial Gardens and Veterans Garden at the War Memorial.  There
will be master gardeners and artists

at the private gardens.  A string quartet from the Grosse Pointe
Symphony will be performing each day in one of the gardens.

Also Nancy Szerlag, garden columnist for the Detroit Free Press and
News and Susan Martin, perennial specialist, will act as docents in a garden on
Saturday.

An original watercolor painting by artist, Robert Fionda, along with
six other wonderful prizes will be raffled off as part of the tour.  Raffle
tickets are $5 or 3 for $10.

Only 500 tickets will be sold.
